RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution amends the FY2015-2016 annual budget and the 2016 - 2020 Capital Improvements Program by creating new Capital Improvements Projects called ST1612 - Redbud Boulevard - Southbound Lanes and ST1613 - Reconstruction of McLarry Drive.
• The new projects will be funded with funds from the following projects:
o Transferring $1,200,000 Issued GO Bonds funds from the Developer Catalyst Project (ST4375) to the Unallocated Fund Balance Project (ST0000).
O Appropriating $1,200,000 from the Unallocated Fund Balance (ST0000) for ST1612 - Redbud Boulevard - Southbound Lanes Project.
O Transferring $600,000 Issued GO Bonds funds from the Developer Catalyst Project (ST4375) to the Unallocated Fund Balance Project (ST0000).
O Appropriating $600,000 from the Unallocated Fund Balance (ST0000) for ST1613 - Reconstruction of McLarry Drive Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The street projects are associated with the site development of the Bloomdale Road Pump Station Project (WA8132). As part of the site planning and development requirements, the roadways adjacent to the site need to be constructed and improved per the platting process requirements.
• The Redbud Boulevard - Southbound Lanes Project will construct the two southbound lanes of the recently constructed Redbud Blvd. which consists of approximately 2,300 linear feet of concrete pavement section with approximately 400 linear feet of storm drain. Pavement will connect from the intersection at McLarry Drive to the existing lanes south of Bloomdale Road. Project will include storm drain inlets and laterals to connect with existing trunk storm drain.
• The Reconstruction of McLarry Drive Project limits are from the existing intersection at Redbud Blvd. to a point no more than 1,100 linear feet north (the approximate northern boundary line of the Bloomdale Road Pump Station site). Reconstruction will be with a concrete pavement section (24’ f-f) with storm drain system.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• With the approval of this item, the following amounts will remain in each project.
o $1,100,000 will remain in ST4375
o $1,200,000 will remain in ST1612
o $600,000 will remain in ST1613
