ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with AT Construction, LLC of Aubrey, Texas, for the Construction of the Monument at McKinney Gateway at Creekside Park Project (PK1906) for a total contract amount not to exceed $169,220.26.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The project will include the construction of a gateway monument, pedestrian connectivity and landscaping.
• City staff worked with DCBA Landscape Architecture on preparing the construction plans and specifications as needed for project bidding.
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 21-56CC, Construction of McKinney Gateway at Creekside Park Monument Project on August 22, 2021.

o 43 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Vendors were notified
• In response to all notices published, three (3) bids were received on September 9, 2021 from:
o AT Construction, LLC
o North Rock Construction, LLC
o Ratliff Hardscape, Ltd.
• AT Construction, LLC is the lowest responsible bidder and meets all qualifications and requirements.
• Staff recommends awarding the construction bid to AT Construction, LLC in an amount of $159,220.26 along with a $10,000 contingency for a total not to exceed amount of $169,220.26.
• Upon approval, construction should begin in October 2021 with a 120-day contract schedule.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The Monument at McKinney Gateway at Creekside Park Project (PK1906) is a FY21-22 Capital Improvements Program funded by Parkland Dedication Funds Zone 3, bonds and developer contributions.
• Upon approval of this item, $3,304,625.07 remains in the project budget.
