·      Staff recommends that the public hearing be closed and the item be tabled indefinitely per the applicant's request.

·      The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 3.15 acres of land, located approximately 900 feet east of Lake Forest Drive and on the south side of Future Collin McKinney Parkway from "PD" - Planned Development District, "REC" - Regional Employment Center Overlay District, and "CC" - Corridor Commercial Overlay District to "PD" - Planned Development District, "REC" - Regional Employment Center Overlay District, and "CC" - Corridor Commercial Overlay District, generally to modify the development standards to allow for a support tower for cellular communication antennas.

·      On March 26, 2013 the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5-2 to recommend denial of the proposed rezoning request. Subsequent to this meeting, the applicant has indicated that they would like to modify the request. Due to this modification, the item will be required to go back through the Planning and Zoning Commission for recommendation, prior to final action by the City Council.
