BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Council appointed commission members and approved funding guidelines for Arts projects in 2005.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The Projected 2011-12 Budget includes $185,000 for grants for Arts projects.
• Upon approval of the 2011-12 Budget, the Arts Commission recommends awarding $185,000 for the initial 2011-12 grant cycle.
BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
• The Arts Commission recommends accepting the grant applications and awarding monies as outlined in the attached resolution.
