RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Annual Budget and the 2021-2025 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $664,000 from the Parkland Dedication Fund - Zone 3 and by transferring $6,000 from the General Fund - Tree Reforestation to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into the Al Ruschhaupt Improvement Project PK4392.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• This request will allow the construction of a new 1,200 sf restroom facility with a concession and storage area. Attached will be a 2,800 sf covered terrace area as well as improved flat work and landscaping.
• An accompanying Resolution for a construction contract for the Al Ruschhaupt Improvement Project will also be on the agenda for City Council approval.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Annual Budget and the 2021-2025 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $664,000 from the Parkland Dedication Fund - Zone 3 and by transferring $6,000 from the General Fund - Tree Reforestation to the Parks Construction Fund.
• The Ordinance also amends the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Annual Budget by appropriating $670,000 in the Parks Construction Fund for CIP Project PK4392 - Al Ruschhaupt Improvement Project.
• Upon approval of this agenda item the total project budget will be $3,170,000, with $1,341,000 remaining to be spent.
• Upon approval of the accompanying construction contract, $15,368 will remain in project PK4392.
