ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Pro-Pipe, Inc. of Irvine, California for as needed storm drain cleaning & inspection services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The purpose of this contract is to provide the Street Department the ability to utilize contractual services to maintain the storm drains under a fixed price contract on an as needed basis. The City has been utilizing the service of Pro-Pipe, Inc. for the past 7 years, and the staff recommends Pro-Pipe, Inc. as the best value for the city with no increase in pricing from the expiring contract.

o Posted on McKinney TV
o 70 matching eBid supplier notifications which included six (6) Historically
Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
• In response to all notices published, one (1) bid was received on June 16, 2022, from Pro-Pipe, Inc. of Irvine, California.
• The bid response was reviewed by the street staff to confirm all required specifications were met based on the evaluation criteria.

• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period.
