ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget and the 2022-2026 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $1,750,000 to the Facilities Improvement Fund and appropriating the funds into the East Louisiana Parking Lot Project (FC2117) for design and construction.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The reconstruction of Dungan Street along with a new adjacent parking lot project is required for the provision of parking for various eastside improvements including the TUPPS Brewery project being funded by the McKinney Community Development Corporation that is located directly to the east of this project.
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget and 2022 - 2026 Capital Improvements Program to fund the project.
• There is a companion agenda item for a construction services contract related to this project also included in this council session.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The budget for this project shall be created by transferring funds from 032-9999-603-8826 and will include funding for the project’s design and construction services.
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget and the 2022-2026 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $1,750,000 funds from the Capital Equipment Replacement Fund balance to the Facilities Improvement Fund and appropriating the funds into the East Louisiana Parking Lot Project (FC2117) for design and construction.
• Upon approval of this item, $2,632,543 will remain in Project FC2117.
