RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Award annual service contract 11-19FP to provide Crack Sealing Services on an “as needed basis”.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Bid opening for Bid Number 11-19FP was held on April 14, 2011
• Bid request was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet
• Total of three (3) bids were received
• Recommended as best evaluated bid for sections I, II, & III is Rose Construction in McKinney, Texas and best evaluated bid for section IV is Tallent Construction in McKinney, Texas.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with four (4) one year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds will be encumbered as needed for the jobs that may arise during this contract period.
