RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Resolution awards a contract to Fannin Tree Farm and Irri-Tech of Texas to provide median landscape and irrigation services and installation to the City of McKinney on an as needed basis.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The City of McKinney issued an invitation to bid (13-33SC) for median landscape and irrigation services and installation in July 2013.
· Bid opening of 13-33SC was held on August 1, 2013.
- Total of four (4) bids were received.
· Recommend awarding by line item to the following as best value bids:

- Line Item 2 thru 13 - Fannin Tree Farm in Frisco, TX
- Line Item 17 thru 37 - Irri-Tech of Texas in Dallas, TX
- Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with four (4) one (1) year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Funding is available from developers' contributions to the Parks Median Fund and to the Tree Reforestation Fund.
