• The Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Program (BVP) grant, reimburses local municipalities up to 50% of the cost of new and replacement vests, depending on funds availability.

• The City of McKinney has received the BVP grant in the past
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The BVP grant reimburses up to 50% of the cost of new and replacement vests ordered after April 1, 2016, depending on available funds.
• Reimbursement of up to $15,077.50, if awarded, will be received in FY 17.
