RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a construction services contract to provide complete construction services related to the design and construction of the East Louisiana Parking Lot located in McKinney, Texas 75069.
* The selected contractor, Spaw Glass Contractors, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide construction services for the East Louisiana Parking Lot for $2,333,839 which includes the Total Base Bid and Alternate A only. With an added owner's contingency of $100,000, the not to exceed (NTE) amount is $2,433,839.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (22-19RFCSP) to solicit responses from qualified firms for the construction of the East Louisiana Parking Lot.

o 1,159 Matching eBid Supplier Notifications
o Including 50 HUB Supplier Notifications
* Out of the 1,159 supplier notifications, nine (9) proposals were received on February 7, 2022.
* A committee comprised of Public Works and City Manager's Office reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
* Proposal Scoring - 100 Points Maximum
o 50 Points- Price & Price Details
o 25 Points- Firm & Individual Qualifications
o 10 Points- Reference Letters & Proposed Project Schedule
