ITEM SUMMARY:
• The McKinney Arts Commission awarded $3,000 Outreach Grant to Magda Dia for summer scholarships at their January 21, 2016 meeting.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Outreach Grants provide financial assistance for the costs associated with a single project, or if the applicant is applying for the first time.
• Per 2016 Arts Grants Guidelines approved by Council on October 6, 2015, Outreach Grants can pay up to 50% of eligible project expenses, not to exceed $3,000.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• $1,849.50 of the $3,000 grant has been reimbursed, leaving a balance of $1,150.50.
