ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a contract with Jim Bowman Construction Company, LP, for the construction of Jefferson Street, from Rockwall to Healy, and Lindsey Street, from Elm to Rockwall, for an amount not to exceed $1,900,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• HDR Engineering, Inc. prepared the construction plans for this project.
• On June 2, 2011, four bids were received for this project and Jim Bowman Construction Company, LP, submitted the low bid in the amount of $1,722,292.69.
• References for Jim Bowman Construction Company, LP, were verified in accordance with the contract documents.
• The contract documents require this project to be completed within 360 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.
