ITEM SUMMARY:
· The Resolution authorizes an interlocal agreement (attached) with NTMWD to allow them use of a City sewer easement while they perform maintenance and rehabilitation on NTMWD owned sewer lines adjacent to the City's system.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· NTMWD is planning to rebuild/rehab the Wilson Creek Interceptor lines as shown on the attached location map. In order to do so they will need to bypass the flow from City and other NTMWD lines and in order to bypass the flow they will need access to the City's system.
· NTMWD's contractor will place equipment and materials on City easements and will access City manholes to divert the sewer flow.
· This agreement will allow the access and will protect the City from any liability associated with the contractor's use of the easement.
