RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:

Staff recommends this item be tabled indefinitely.

ITEM SUMMARY:

At the October 4th regular meeting, City Council tabled this item and requested additional information to be provided by Staff on the broader policy issue of implementing an incentive program to include the reduction/elimination of roadway impact fees for the purpose of encouraging smaller scale redevelopment in McKinney’s Town Center (generally in roadway impact fee service area K).

At the November 1st work session, Staff presented the requested additional information on the broader policy issue. City Council provided additional feedback and requested Staff to compile additional research on the policy issue.

Because it is Staff's understanding that the City Council would prefer to act on the broader policy issue prior to or in place of acting on this specific request from Louisiana Street Grill, Staff is requesting that this item be tabled indefinitely.
