RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution provides authority to City Manager to enter into a contract with KIP Realty, LLC to provide appraisal services for the acquisition of approximately fourteen parcels needed for the Alma Road Completion Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Capital Improvements Program includes the construction of the northbound lanes of Alma Road from Stacy Road to Fire Station #8, and the construction of Silverado Trail from Alma Road to proposed Comstock Elementary School.
• To construct this project, approximately twelve parcels will need to be acquired along the east side of Alma between Stacy Road and Fire Station #8, and two parcels will need to be acquired along the south side of Silverado Trail, east of Alma Road.
• This appraisal services contract will provide information related to the value of the properties in order for a bona fide offer to be sent to the owners.
• KIP Realty has submitted a proposal in the amount of $28,000 for this work.

• None.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a contract with KIP Realty, LLC for an amount not to exceed $32,000.
• Funds for this project are available in ST9114 for the Alma Road Completion Project.
