RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Staff recommends approval of the proposed rezoning request.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 37.81 acres of land from “PD” - Planned Development District and “CC” - Corridor Commercial Overlay District to “C2” - Local Commercial District and “CC” - Corridor Commercial Overlay District, generally for commercial uses.

 

                     On January 19, 2016, the City Council voted 7-0-0 to continue the public hearing and table the item to the February 2, 2016 City Council meeting per the applicant’s request.
