RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution approves qualified firms to provide miscellaneous drainage and floodplain management services, miscellaneous surveying services and miscellaneous geotechnical and materials testing services. In addition, this resolution authorizes the Interim City Manager to enter into contracts with these firms.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City of McKinney utilizes on-call professional services contracts to complete miscellaneous tasks.
* The City of McKinney issued a request for qualifications for miscellaneous drainage and floodplain management services (RFQ15-03), miscellaneous surveying services (RFQ15-04), and miscellaneous geotechnical and materials testing services (RFQ15-05) in December 2014.
* Fifteen Drainage and Floodplain Management firms submitted their statements of qualification information in response to RFQ 15-03. Nineteen Surveying firms submitted their statements of qualification in response to RFQ 15-04. Seventeen Geotechnical and Material Testing firms submitted their statements of qualification in response to the RFQ.
* 3 committees of nine staff members from the Engineering department reviewed and ranked the statements of qualifications based on the following criteria:
o Past experience of the firm and team members
o Qualifications of the firm and team members
o Project Approach
o Past project record with the City of McKinney
