ITEM SUMMARY:
• The Parks & Recreation Department will provide an overview of the Apex Centre’s operational highlights, provide an update on the active MCDC-funded projects, and review membership rates.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Apex Centre opened in 2017 and currently serves thousands of McKinney families.
• The Parks & Recreation Department will provide an overview of membership numbers, potential updates to membership rates, and other programming highlights.
• This will also include an update and discussion on the collection of special projects funded by the MCDC in February 2021.
• Staff presented this item at the December 9, 2021, meeting of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Board.
