APPROVAL PROCESS: The recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be forwarded to the City Council for final action at the April 6, 2021 meeting.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the proposed rezoning request.

ITEM SUMMARY: The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 4.00 acres of land, generally for commercial uses.
This item was previously heard at the February 9, 2021 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and was tabled by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the public hearing continued until the February 23, 2021 meeting where the item was tabled and the public hearing was again continued to the March 9, 2021 meeting per the applicant's request.
Since the February 23, 2021 meeting, the applicant has met with a representative from the neighborhood and provided them with a proposed concept plan for a future office development on the site.
