ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney is currently in the process of identifying an executive search firm, through a request for qualifications (RFQ), who can provide the expertise and services required to perform executive search services for the recruitment of a City Manager. As part of the selection process, respondents to this RFQ Strategic Government Resources and The Novak Consulting Group have been requested to make presentations to and answer questions from the City Council.
• The two firms will each make a 30 minute presentation to the City Council. These presentations will provide the qualifications of each team and an explanation on why they are the best firm for this project. Subsequent to each of the firm’s presentations, the City Council will have up to 30 minutes to ask questions of the firms and their presentation.
• After each firm has made their presentation and the Council has had time to ask their questions, Council will then select the firm they deem the most qualified to perform the executive search services for the recruitment of a City Manager.
