RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of the attached Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· Bid opening of 13-36SB was held on September 5, 2013.
· Invitation to bid was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet.
· Fourteen (14) vendors reviewed the request for bid.
· Total of three (3) bids were received.
· Recommended as best value bids for line items one (1) and three (3) is Ship It AOG of Addison, Texas and best value bids for line item four (4) is AERO Specialties of Boise, Idaho. Line item two (2) will not be awarded.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· Contract shall commence on date of award and contract pricing shall be available for one year.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Funds will be available in account 061-7777-496-9201 during this contract period.
