ITEM SUMMARY:
· Bid opening for Bid Number 15-08FP was held on November 6, 2014
· Bid request was advertised and specifications were available via the internet
· Total of five (5) bids were received
· Recommendations were made based on the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City of McKinney.
· The best value for the City is achieved by awarding a primary and secondary vendor as follows:
Primary- KT Construction from McKinney, TX.
Secondary- Jim Bowman from Plano, TX.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· Contract 15-08FP will provide Concrete Street Repair & Concrete Sidewalk Construction & Repair on an as needed basis.
· Contract shall commence on the date of award and will have a three (3) year performance period with two (2) one year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Budgeted funds are available from various department accounts during the life of the contract.
