ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Ovation’s 2022 Spring/Summer productions will consist of eleven productions from February through August.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Ovation Academy School of Performing Arts provides onsite training in the disciplines of Dance, Acting, Musical Theatre and Theatrical Production and Design.

                     Additionally, students are also trained in the business of being a professional artist and the life-skills needed to succeed in the industry.

                     Ovation believes in a “whole-istic” approach to learning.

                     Ovation offers a Conservatory Academy for students in grades 6-12; a Homeschool Program for students grades K-12; and After-Hours Community Outreach programs for ages 3 to adult.

 

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     MCDC’s allocation for Promotional and Community Event grants for FY 22 is $200,000, $100,000 for Cycle I applicants, and $100,000 for Cycle II applicants.

                     MCDC provided a Promotional and Community Event grant totaling $5,000 in FY 21 for advertising, marketing and promotion of the 2021 performances.
