RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Award annual contract 11-34FP to provide Automotive Paint & Body Services an “as needed” basis.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Bid opening for Bid Number 11-34FP was held on, 9/15/2011
• Bid request was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet
• Total of one (1) bid were received
• Recommended as best evaluated bid is David’s Paint & Body from McKinney, TX.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period with two (2) one year renewal options.
• David’s Paint & Body is the vendor the City of McKinney has been using for the past three (3) years to do our paint and body work. They are a local vendor and meet all of the needs requested in the city’s solicitation.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds will be encumbered as needed for the jobs that may arise during this contract period.
