ITEM SUMMARY:
* The General Election will be held to elect Mayor, Council members for District 1, District 3, and one At-Large on Saturday, May 6, 2017,
* The Ordinance provides for the following:
* Date and hours of voting on election day: Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
o Early Voting Polling locations within the City of McKinney proposed this year are:
? McKinney Performing Arts Center
? Collin County Elections Office in McKinney
? Fire Station #5
* Proposed McKinney polling locations for election day are:
* City Hall
* Slaughter Elementary School
* John and Judy Gay Library
* Fire Station #5
* MISD/Collin College have selected two other McKinney polling locations for both Early Voting and Election Day.
* Collin College Central Park Campus
* Collin College Higher Education Center
* Voters can vote at any early voting location and election day Vote Centers administered by Collin County Elections Administration.
* Early voting will be conducted as follows:
Monday, April 24, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 25, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 26, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 27, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, April 28, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 29, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, May 1, 2017 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 2, 2017 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
* Appointment of Bruce Sherbet, Collin County Elections Administrator, as the Early Voting Clerk for the purpose of conducting early voting.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
