                     Approval of Ordinance

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The Accident Response Recovery Fee will be charged only to non-residents of McKinney deemed to be at fault for a motor vehicle accident. 

                     The free will over the cost of related administrative services undertaken by the City.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The City of McKinney currently has no means of recovering administrative services costs when police officers respond to an accident.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     Fees to be assessed are:

o                     Non-Injury Accident                                          $110.00

o                     Injury Accident                                          $215.00
