RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approve Resolution

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The City Council allocated $200,000 to the McKinney Arts Commission for FY16, of which $14,000 were for the Public Art Fund.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The Public Art Fund currently has $33,054 in available funds.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     On January 17, 2017, $30,195 was re-appropriated to 001-9999-403-8559. Of this amount, $24,915 are unspent funds.

 

BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:

                     The McKinney Arts Commission met on January 19, 2017 and recommended the redirection of unspent FY16 Arts Commission funds to the Public Art Fund.
