ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney is currently in the process of identifying an executive search firm, through a request for qualifications (RFQ), who can provide the expertise and services required to perform executive search services for the recruitment of a City Manager.
• The City Council met in a special meeting on January 15, 2016 to select the firms they would like to invite to make presentations. Invited firms are as follows:
o Chris Hartung Consulting, Inc.,
o GovHR USA,
o Ralph Andersen & Associates,
o Slavin Management Consultants,
o The Novak Consulting Group
• The firms will each make a 30 minute presentation to the City Council. These presentations will be held on January 19th and January 25th. The firms will provide the qualifications of each team and an explanation on why they are the best firm for this project. Subsequent to each of the firm’s presentations, the City Council will have up to 30 minutes to ask questions of the firms and their presentation.
• Council will select the firm they deem the most qualified to perform the executive search services for the recruitment of a City Manager.
