ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the FY 2015-2016 annual CIP budget and the 2016-2020 Capital Improvements Program, by accepting a $30,000 donation from the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club and transferring the funds to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into project PK3222 Bonnie Wenk Park Phase II.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On September 15, 2015, the City Council approved the execution of an agreement with the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club to allow for the design and construction of an All-Inclusive playground in Bonnie Wenk Park.
• The $30,000 donation from the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club is in accordance to the agreement.
• This Ordinance transfers funds to project PK3222 and provides the funds needed for design of the All-Inclusive Playground.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $30,000 from the Sunrise Rotary Club to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds to CIP project PK3222 Bonnie Wenk Park Phase II.
