BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Visit McKinney Board consists of seven (7) members appointed by the City Council, a majority of whom shall be residents of the city. Non-resident members shall have their primary business or place of employment within the city.
• As a guideline but not a limitation, the City Council may appoint members representative of these or any other business sector:
o o Hotel/motel/lodging
o Sales
o Travel
o Marketing
o Restaurant
o Technology
o Event Planning
o Sports
o Professional
• • The Visit McKinney board serves in accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 106.
