RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• During the 2015 appointments, the City Council indicated that they desired to reduce the number of members on the McKinney Convention and Visitors Bureau and the McKinney Main Street Board from nine to seven to align with the number of members on the other Boards and Commissions.
• The changes are highlighted in the attachment.
• The McKinney Convention and Visitors Bureau bylaws were last amended in October, 2013.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The changes requested by the City Council have been incorporated into the Bylaws.

• The McKinney Convention and Visitors Bureau approved the Fourth Amended Bylaws at their meeting held on March 22, 2016.
