ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Representatives from DART and DCTA are working to create a proposal package for new service programming in the MUTD. Representatives will have proposal package completed and ready for review in July. Once service package proposal is received by McKinney staff, we will submit evaluations and disseminate service plan proposal to Board members for review. Board members will provide questions and comments to be answered by agency representatives prior to voting on a proposal at the August board meeting. Should the Board find it necessary to meet prior to voting on the service plan proposal in August, Staff will hold an emergency Board meeting in July. Holding a board meeting in June does not provide enough time for a full and robust evaluation of procurement proposals. A June board meeting would not include service package proposal review. Staff recommends cancelling the scheduled June board meeting and voting on the proposed new service plan at the scheduled August 18th board meeting.
