RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• The board of directors of the McKinney Community Development Corporation recommends approval of this grant
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Replace exterior wood doors and hardware with energy efficient metal aluminum or fiberglass doors.
• Install new cooling roof top unit, and adding return air flow in rear of Courtroom Theater.
• Install magnetic fiberglass panels over single pane glass windows for higher energy efficiency and to reduce exterior noise.
• Install sound absorbing panels above wainscoting on the first floor and in the hallways on all levels.
• Install larger French drain on west side of building to eliminate water intrusion
• Install a visual art and light tracking system to display public art
• Power clean exterior brick and cast concrete to remove dirt and mold
• Marble polishing and floor cleaning
• Paint interior walls and wood stain selected areas
• Sand, Stain and seal wood floors throughout facility
