RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Discussion and possible action on casting votes for the candidate(s) to the Board of Directors to the Central Appraisal District.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney has 200 votes to cast in the election of the Board of Directors for the Central Appraisal District
• The terms of office will be two years beginning January 1, 2012.
• Board of Director Nominees are:
o Ronald Carlisle - current board member
o Dr. Leo Fitzgerald - current board member
o Wayne Mayo - current board member
o Gary Rodenbaugh - current board member
o Roy Wilshire - current board member
o Reed Greer
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The McKinney Independent School District will be recommending to their Board of Trustees to allocate their 435 votes among the five incumbents with more weight given to Wayne Mayo and Dr. Leo Fitzgerald.
• In 2009, the City of McKinney cast all of their 201 votes for Wayne Mayo.
