ITEM SUMMARY:
* Earlier this year, the City of McKinney initiated involuntary annexation proceedings for land generally located adjacent to and around the McKinney National Airport.
* In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, the City Council conducted Public Hearings for consideration of the proposed annexation during the following meetings:
o March 14, 2016 at 5:30 pm Special City Council Meeting - 1st Public Hearing
o March 15, 2016 at 6:00 pm Regular City Council Meeting - 2nd Public Hearing
* All of the meetings indicated above occurred in the City Council Chambers at McKinney's City Hall located at 222 N. Tennessee St., McKinney, TX 75069.
