RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* Approval of resolution amends the existing Custom Printing contract 13-18FP to add Marfield Corporate Stationery of Carrollton, Texas and Print Right of Allen, Texas to the qualified vendors list to provide custom printing to the City on an as needed basis.
* The City provides an opportunity for qualified printing vendors to supplement our existing qualified vendors list at each anniversary date of the existing contract.
* The qualified vendor's list allows City departments a variety of qualified suppliers to obtain quotes from for various papers, documents and manuals throughout departments of the City on an as needed basis.
* The addition of these two vendors supplements our existing list of ten (10) printing vendors.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued an invitation to bid seeking qualified vendors to supplement the existing annual contract for as-needed custom printing services in August 2015.
* Bid opening was held on September 3, 2015.
* Total of four (4) responses were received.
o Marfield Corporate Stationery-Carrollton, Texas
o Kellar Graphics, Inc. dba Print Tyme-Garland, Texas
o Print Right-Allen, Texas
o Limitless Products, LLC dba 1 Stop Print Tx-Richardson, Texas
* Staff is recommending adding Marfield Corporate Stationery of Carrollton, Texas and Print Right of Allen, Texas to the qualified vendors list for custom printing needs.
* Kellar Graphics, Inc. dba Print Tyme and Limitless Products, LLC dba 1 Stop Print Tx are currently serving as qualified vendors; therefore, no further action is required to add them to the list
