ITEM SUMMARY:
• Establish a Temporary Special Aeronautical Service Operator daily fee rate and correct the activity’s title.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Appendix A, Sec. 30-86 lists “Mobile aircraft maintenance permit fee, aircraft serviced /week … 200.00.”
• Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances does not address “Mobile aircraft maintenance” as an authorized activity.
• This amendment will correct the name of the permitted activity from Mobile Aircraft Maintenance to Temporary Special Aeronautical Service Operator (TSASO), which by its nature is mobile, and establish a one-day permit fee to allow for a single day’s operation by a TSASO.
