RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution amends expenditures in the 2017-2021 Capital Improvements Program by creating the following new Capital Improvements Program projects:
o McKinney Substandard Utility Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Umbrella Projects East of SH 5, CO1704
o McKinney Substandard Utility Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Umbrella Projects South of Virginia, CO1705
* CO1704 will be funded with previously programmed funds from the Street Reconstruction Umbrella (ST1622) in the amount of $30,000, the Substandard Water Mains (WA4336) in the amount of $180,000, and the Substandard Wastewater Mains (WW4350) in the amount of $265,000.
* CO1705 will be funded with previously programmed funds from the Street Reconstruction Umbrella (ST1622) in the amount of $20,000, the Substandard Water Mains (WA4336) in the amount of $200,000, and the Substandard Wastewater Mains (WW4350) in the amount of $130,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Funding has been allocated for FY 16-17 for rehabilitation of various streets (ST1622), replacement or rehabilitation of various substandard water utilities (WA4336), and replacement or rehabilitation of various substandard wastewater utilities (WW4350).
* Staff has allocated use of these funds for design of various projects throughout the City which have been identified as needing street rehabilitation, having substandard water mains, and/or having substandard wastewater mains.
