• Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This resolution authorizes Allegiance to pay run out medical claims from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The third party administrative services agreement for the self-funded health plans terminates on December 31, 2017. However, claims incurred through December 31, 2017 will continue to be processed and paid by Allegiance.
• This agreement authorizes the City to retain the services of Allegiance to continue to receive and process medical claims incurred through December 31, 2017.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The annual cost of this contract is estimated at $66,100.
• Funding is available in account 015-2110-413-8575 for Insurance Fixed Costs/Administrative Fees
