ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of an annual fixed price contract with Core Services, LLC of Dallas, Texas for Hazardous Tree Trimming & Removal Services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City of McKinney issued a joint bid with the City of Frisco, Texas, Invitation to Bid 19-14FP Hazardous Tree Trimming & Removal Services on December 2, 2018.

o 114 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• Purchasing received a total of eight (8) bids on January 17, 2019.
• The evaluation team of three staff members comprised from the Public Works and Parks Departments reviewed the bid responses based on the following criteria:
o 40%-Purchase Price
o 20%- Reputation of the Bidder and of the Bidders Goods and Services through Verified Reference Check
o 15%-Equipment
o 15%-Response Time
o 10% - Bidder’s Past Relationship with the City of McKinney
• The evaluation team recommends awarding a fixed annual price contract to Core Services Inc. of Dallas, Texas based on the best value and overall low bidder.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for hazardous tree trimming and removal services is budgeted in various accounts in the Solid Waste and Parks Departments.
