RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the Deputy City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with Tiseo Paving Company for the construction of Stacy Road Lanes 5 & 6 from Ridge Road to SH 121 and a right turn lane from SH 121 to Ridge Road for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,100,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* HW Lochner, Inc, prepared the construction plans for this project.
* No right-of-way was acquired for this project as the two additional lanes on Stacy Road will be constructed in the existing median.
* Three bids were received for this project on March 13, 2014. The following is a summary of the bids:

* Tiseo Paving Company successfully completed the Alma Road and Silverado Trail project in 2013 and is currently working toward the successful completion of the FM 543 Connector Road project.
