STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends that the public hearing be continued and the item tabled to the October 14, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting due to public hearing notification signs not being posted on the subject property by the applicant in the timeframe required by the Zoning Ordinance.
 
ITEM SUMMARY:  The applicant is requesting to rezone a total of approximately 25.81 acres of land, for approximately 4.54 acres located on the south side of Westridge Boulevard and approximately 320 feet west of Independence Parkway; and approximately 21.28 acres on the south side of Westridge Boulevard and on the east side of Coit Road, from "PD" - Planned Development District to "PD" - Planned Development District, generally to modify the development standards.
