ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the Interim City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with Accelerated Critical Path, Inc (ACP, Inc.) for the rehabilitation of Floodwater Retarding Structure Site 2A in the East Fork above Lavon Watershed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The NRCS prepared the plans for this project.

* Seven bids were received for this project on October 16, 2014. The following is a summary of the bids:

* The NRCS, along with City staff spoke with representatives from ACP, Inc. via conference call the afternoon of October 20, 2014 and agree that ACP is capable of performing the rehabilitation work.
* This project included an alternate bid using irrigation water from a municipal source. Since the City is currently in a drought, the base bid (irrigation water from an alternate source) will be used for award. However, the alternate bid item price may be used for irrigation water if the watering restrictions change when it is necessa...
