RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Conduct the final public hearing regarding a voluntary petition for annexation and approve the annexation request with accompanying ordinance.
* In accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council held the first public hearing at a special meeting on November 4, 2013 (5:30 p.m.) and held a second public hearing at a regular meeting on November 5, 2013 (6 p.m.). This is the final public hearing for action regarding the petition for annexation, and it is being considered concurrently with an associated zoning request (13-190Z) and development agreement.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* The applicant has submitted six petitions for voluntary annexation to the City of McKinney for tracts totaling approximately 126.70 acres together with the adjacent and/or abutting segments of Wilmeth Road and Ridge Road. The subject property is located generally on the north and south sides of Wilmeth Road and on the east and west sides of C.R. 161 (Future Ridge Road).
* The subject property, if annexed, will be zoned pursuant to the associated zoning case (13-190Z) that is being considered concurrently at the December 3, 2013 City Council meeting. The associated zoning request will cover the same land area as conta...
