RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Award annual service contract 12-02SC to provide Painting Services on an “as needed” basis.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Bid opening for Bid Number 12-02SC was held on December 1, 2011
• Bid request was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet
• Total of eight (8) bids were received
• Recommended as best evaluated bid with highest weighted score is Myelyn Contractors of Lewisville,Texas
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period with two (2) one year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds will be encumbered as needed for the jobs that may arise during this contract period.
