RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Award annual service contract 12-01SC to provide Roofing Services on an “as needed” basis.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Bid opening for Bid Number 12-01SC was held on December 1, 2011
• Bid request was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet
• Total of two (2) bids were received
• Recommended as best evaluated bid is Tallent Roofing of McKinney, Texas
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a three (3) year period with two (2) one year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds will be encumbered as needed for the jobs that may arise during this contract period.
