ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Project Control will be the project control consultant to manage budget and timeline. 

                     The project expands and renovates the existing 32,572 square feet of hangar and office space by adding 566 square feet of hangar space, 2,262 square feet of new office space, 3,520 square feet of new shop space with a 1,375 square foot mezzanine, and renovating the existing 7,813 square feet of office area.

                     There is an accompanying Ordinance amending the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Annual Budget and amending the 2017-2021 Capital Improvements Program to provide funds for consulting services for Project AI1705, Toyota Hangar Expansion Project.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Toyota Motors North America (tenant) requested to expand the existing hangar at McKinney National Airport.  Tenant will be signing a new 10 year lease with the City of McKinney.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     Project Control shall be compensated on a monthly basis. 

                     Payment for services shall be a sum not to exceed ($10,500.00) per month for a maximum period not to exceed twenty (20) months  - $210,000

                     Reimbursable expenses shall be a maximum monthly amount of $1,250 for twenty (20) months - $25,000.

                     Total not to exceed amount for both monthly services and reimbursable expenses shall be $235,000.
