ITEM SUMMARY:

                     25 Revolutions is requesting $15,000 for the advertising and promotion of a feature-length documentary set in McKinney.

                     The documentary follows the planning, production and ultimately the performances involved in KHYI 95.3 FM radio’s 25th annual music festival, the Texas Music Revolution.

                     Poised to showcase the City of McKinney, the documentary is narrated by Hollywood icon Kiefer Sutherland and produced by DirtyJobs' and Bizarre Foods' Troy Paff.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     25 Revolutions, LLC was established in 2021 for the production of this documentary.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     MCDC’s allocation for Promotional and Community Event grants for FY 22 is $200,000, $100,000 for Cycle I applicants, and $100,000 for Cycle II applicants.

                     25 Revolutions, LLC has not received previous Promotional and Community Event grants.
