RECOMMENDED PARK BOARD ACTION:
* Approval of the Recommendation.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with DCBA Landscape Architecture/LJA, to provide planning and engineering services for the master plans for Towne Lake Park and McKinney Greens Park.

* The master plans are for the renovation of Towne Lake Park as well as the creation of a new neighborhood park in the McKinney Greens neighborhood. The total study area covers approximately 475 acres, and this 4.7 acre Greens park is within those boundaries.

* Following the development of the masterplans (which will include opportunities for public input), the Greens park will be carved out and established as a separate CIP project that will move forward into design and construction plans.

* The master plan for Towne Lake will include conceptual plans and associated preliminary cost estimates which will determine what phases may be implemented and in what order.
